Setup:
Prepare Cards: Ensure each flashcard has a picture of an animal and its name
Distribute Cards: Each player picks a card randomly and keeps it secret.
How to Play:
- Choose the First Player: Decide who will guess first. This can be done through a simple game like rock-paper-scissors or by choosing the youngest player.
- Guessing Turn: The player on the guessing turn asks Yes/No questions to figure out the animal on another player's card. For example, "Does it fly? … Can it climb trees? … "
- Answering Questions: The player with the card answers the questions with only "Yes" or "no."
- Limit Questions: Optionally, limit the number of questions per turn (e.g., 5 questions per turn) to make the game more challenging and to give others a chance to play.
- Making a Guess: After asking their set number of questions, the guessing player can make one guess about the animal on the card. If the guess is incorrect, the next player takes their turn.
- Winning a Round: A player wins the round by correctly guessing the animal on the card. They keep the card as a point.
- Next Round: The player to the left of the guesser becomes the new guesser for the next round.
End of Game: The game ends when all animals have been guessed. The player with the most cards/points wins.
Tips:
- Encourage strategic questions that narrow down the possibilities quickly.
